Very simple selection criteria were stated by the exam conducting authorities for the India post-GDS exam 2023 according to the rules the minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years and the maximum is 40 years. The Applicants must have completed their class 10th with his/her local language as one of the main subjects from any recognized school or board.
Also, the applicants belonging to Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PwD), and Female & Transgender categories were exempted from paying the application fee, however the rest of the applicants had to pay Rs. 100 as application fee. The selection for the recruitment was completely based on merit of class 10th.

The applicants whose names were mentioned in the first merit list have been called for their document verification round and after the release of the second merit list the next batch of candidates will be called for document verification process and the documents required are stated as follows:
