From a survey conducted an estimated report was made that approximately 40 lakh residents of Delhi are residing in Unauthorized colonies that is spread over in around 175 square kilometres approximately, located on private or public land. Properties in these unauthorized colonies is available in the form of plots of land or built-up space and are generally held through General Power of Attorney (GPA), Will, Agreement to Sale, Payment and Possession documents.

The authorities have developed around 25 help desk all over Delhi to help the people in completing their online applications. A very nominal fee will be charged in order to complete the registry procedure on the online portal. The pm Uday yojana is launched in order to respect the right to property act mentioned in the Indian constitution.
No development is possible in these unauthorised colonies until and unless the people residing in these colonies are given proper rights and security of their house. Bring the PM Uday yojana into action did not happen without controversies finally in year 2019 the Union Cabinet, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs MoHUA, Government of India, constituted a committee headed by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, to recommend the procedure for recognition/recognition of ownership or mortgage and approved the PM Uday yojana.

PM Uday Yojana Application Status 2023

- first of all, you have to visit the official website, the website is stated above for reference.
- On the home page tab click on the registration button. The PM-UDAY registration form will open in front of you.
- The applicants will have to fill in all the basic details like name, valid mobile number, email address, then click on submit.
- A message will be sent to your registered mobile number with the applicant’s login credentials.
- The applicant’s will then have to login again using their login details, now complete the registration form and upload the necessary documents with scanned signature and passport size photographs.
- The applicants can then save the application form for reference.
