The Telangana Aasara pension scheme was launched by the Chief Minister of Telangana state in year 2014 with the aim to provide pensions to various categories of people like Widows, HIV patients, etc so that they can fulfil some of their family needs and live a normal life. Later the yojana has been renewed with some increased in amount that will be given to the beneficiaries of the scheme as financial assistance that will be transferred to their bank amounts.

TS Aasara Pension Form 2023
The eligibility criteria to apply for the TS Aasara yojana are stated below:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana state.
- The applicant must not be an ex-government employee.
- Some more details are as follows:
For old age people
- The age of the applicant should be 65 years and above.
- The applicant must belong to primitive and Vulnerable Tribal Groups
And For Widow
- The age of the widow must be above 18 years.
- The applicant must belong to primitive and Vulnerable Tribal Groups
For Disabled Person
- A person of any age can apply for the scheme.

- Also, the applications of the following cases candidates will not be considered:
- In case the applicant owns light or heavy automobiles.
- In case the applicant is receiving any other pension from some other government scheme
- The applicants must hold any property more than 3 acres wet/irrigated dry or 7.5 acres dry on their names.
- Also, if the applicants any family member is a government/public sector/private sector employee then the applications will be discarded.

TS Asara Pension Status 2023
The interested citizens can use offline and online mode to apply under the yojana, the detailed steps for both the modes of application are stated as follows:
- Online mode:
- First of all, visit the official website of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation
- On the home page search for online application section and select the pension application option
- Then you will be directed to a new page where you will find the application form now all the required details in the application form and upload the necessary documents along with a self-declaration
- Click the Submit option. Then your application number will be displayed on your screen keep it safe for future reference.
- Offline mode:
- Visit the official website as mentioned in the table above then on the home page search for Download the application form and print the form.
- Fill in the details and attach all the documents.
- The applicants have to submit their Applications to their Regional Gram Panchayat Secretary / Village Revenue Officer in the rural area and Bill Collector in the Urban area.
